Move Over Mozzarella Sticks, Make Way for Jalapeño Poppers

That’s right, I’m talking about the Jalapeño Popper.  When you talk about breaded and deep fried cheese, most people think of the mozzarella stick.  Well, most people are idiots because the Jalapeño Popper blows the mozzarella stick right off the appetizer sampler plate…  On the outside they appear to be the same, although the mozzarella stick is a bit more phallic.  On the inside however, they are worlds apart.  What is in inside a mozzarella stick?  Mozzarella of course… in fact, nothing but mozzarella.

If you had asked me a few days ago which fast food restaurant is my favorite, I would have said Chick-fil-A, hands down. However, as of yesterday, I’m feeling a little guilty about my answer.

I’m sure most of you, aside from Jordan who has apparently been living underground his whole life, have eaten at a Chick-fil-A. You know how good their waffle fries taste, you wonder about the necessity of the strategically placed two, not three, pickles on the chicken sandwich and you ogle at the huge, delicious shakes (yet often choose not to order them because you feel guilty holding up the line for twenty minutes while the underpaid seven year old behind the counter makes it).

Moe’s Southwest Grill

So we are in Florida for the weekend and stumbled upon the best Mexican Style Restaurant I have ever been to!  Moe’s Southwest Grill has everything from Burritos, Tacos, Quesadillas, Nachos, Fajitas and Salads.  When you walk into this place they yell across the counter “Welcome to Moe’s” and it kind of freaks you out!  Now this was the only negative thing I have to say about this place because the service and food were amazing!
